We would like to take this opportunity to inform parents, of the important role and extra support we can provide to all Indigenous students. By working together towards Closing the Gap we will provide the students with an educational environment and the confidence for success.

Reconciliation is all about understanding. Achieving this involves raising awareness of, and learning about, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures.
It’s also about changing attitudes that are often based on myths and misunderstandings and encouraging action were everyone plays their part in building a better relationship between all Australians, by presenting the facts and giving people an opportunity to broaden their knowledge; so we can work towards a better understanding.
At St John’s we are working towards moving forward together.
